Raising Your Vibration Takes Practice

Taking a moment to center yourself and consciously raise your vibration during times of stress is going to help you survive and manage those days when you aren’t feeling the best.  But – you also have to make sure you’re regularly raising your vibration in order to create the life that you want.  And that takes practice.

Those times of stress will be easier if we already have a regular vibration-raising practice in place.  Training yourself to be in a constant state of balance and joy takes time and lots of effort.  Especially these days where oppression and lower vibrations are so prevalent.  And the feeling of true peace and balance might not come after your first conscious effort to raise yourself, so don’t get discouraged or toss away the technique if you don’t see immediate results.  Give it some regular attention and effort in your life, and you’ll start seeing miracles happen everyday.

There are TONS of resources out there these days that help you raise your vibration, so I’m going to give you my top three tips and then links to my favorite sites that give more info and strategies.

My top three are pretty simple, but I think they are the basic foundation on which we can build our higher vibrational living:

  1. Meditate
  2. Breathe Deep
  3. Express Gratitude

Meditate – This really is a must.  Even if it’s only for 5 minutes a day.  Take some time to sit in the quiet stillness of you and your soul.  Give yourself 5 minutes first thing in the morning, and five minutes before you go to bed at night.  Use the time to quiet your mind or send thoughts of gratitude and intention out to the universe.

Breathe Deep – Our breath is our life force.  It powers the divine energy flowing through us.  There’s a reason why taking 10 slow, deep breaths is the first thing you are told to do in any anger or stress management course.  When we focus on taking long, deep breaths, not only are we benefiting physically by our blood pressure and heart rate dropping (which prevents multiple diseases), we are also benefiting spiritually when we intentionally take that breath to connect with the divine.

Express Gratitude – From pure gratitude comes pure joy, which is pure love expressed.  When you express gratitude for something that is uncertain, you show that you have fully surrendered to God and the Universe.  It’s the ultimate display of faith in the powers that be.  It shows that you have let go of all fear and you have opened up to the divine path before you.  You accept that life is on your side and that God is working for your good.  If you have a hard time finding something to be grateful for, be thankful for breath, the opportunity to live, and all the powers you have that give you limitless possibilities.
