Loving Life

I haven’t updated for a while, and I feel it’s time for one of those long, detailed “get caught up on life” posts.  But I’m just gonna keep it short a simple.

Life is great.  Wonderful in fact.  I’ve never been so happy and in love with everything around me.  My husband.  My boys.  My pups.  My family.

Dustin got a new job working at the Grove Park Inn Spa. It’s pretty swanky, and he gets to look cute everyday. 🙂  He’s actually kicking quite a lot of ass.  His supervisors love him and are already planning on training him for management.  “He’s really going somewhere,” one of his managers said of him. 🙂  So so proud.

My job at the daycare is going well.  Though it’s been a bit hectic due to some employee changes, things are getting steady, and I’m getting consistent hours.  And those babies…oh my goodness.  Still so cute.  I’ve been working with the 3 and 4 year olds lately, too, and they are equally cute albeit a bit more crazy.  I’m thankful for the good people I get to work with and for the opportunity to still be involved in education.

Nikki got her own place with a couple of our new friends.  And lucky for us, it’s just three doors down from us. 🙂  So happy we can be neighbors!  It’s absolutely perfect.

We had a little get together on Father’s Day.  Dustin’s parents were in town, and we wanted them to have the chance to meet some of our new friends.  It’s so amazing to see our little Asheville family start to expand.  I’m so thankful for all these new, amazing people in my life.

New friends always make me think of old friends, and, boy, have I been missing old friends lately!  Especially my girls.  Brooke and Lindsie.  Sarah and Katie.  I can’t wait to see you all soon!  (Speaking of which, I should be home next weekend, the 5th-7th, so hopefully I can see some of you.)

I’ve been writing a TON (though posting little, I admit).  I’m so excited about the different projects that are in the works.

One of these projects is expanding the blog a bit.  I want to talk about more things than spirituality.  I’ve had some major lifestyle changes (like eating [mostly] organic, saying no to fast food, etc.), and it’s made such a profound difference in my life.  There’s so many changes going on in the world today, and it’s really important for us to stay informed so that we can know what is good for us and what is bad for us.  Then we can make more conscious choices about what we consume.

So stay tuned!

Love and Blessings to all!
